General Info

Hello! and welcome to the website of Soaring Phoenix. SP is a Horde guild in World of Warcraft located on the Haomarush server. The guild was originally created by members of another guild that had slowly begun to die out. Teaming together they worked to create Soaring Phoenix which is a guild for any and all Horde who have lost or were kicked from their own guilds and are now searching for a new home.

SP is a mainly a raiding guild with the primary focus on gearing up and progression. We raid primarly on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday nights 7:00pm  and 8:15pm until about 12:00am or 1:00am depending on people work/school times (All EST).

We also welcome PVP players, because some of our member PVP as well. We are all one large family working together to make the game a fun and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Obtaining Officer Position 

Actions speak louder than words. Officers will be those people who stand out among their other guild mates as leaders and over all good people who care truthfully about the guild and wants it to progress as a whole. Asking for promotions is not the way to go about getting promoted. Just be yourself and time will tell.

Officers

* Are players who have shown a large interest in the guild as a whole. They are there to take care of issues that may pop up and help everyone in the guild who may need it. They are the main leaders of the guild and work as a unit to come up with decisions that would be best for the guild.

How to be a good Officer?

* Remain calm and polite in and outside of raids.

* Be patient with guildies and willing to help them out or explain things as clearly as you can.

* Don't yell or swear over vent or in guild chat when an issue arises.

* Uphold the guild and raid rules.

* Suggest way that could enhance the raiders skills. (I.E. Healing rotation, Casting Rotation, food buffs, flasks)

* Make sure the move at the over all raiders pace. (not everyone can leap frog)

* By open minded, sometimes what works for one group, wont work for the other
