Guild Policies

1. It's Just a Game. AKA: Real Life Comes First. If you know you will be taking a long absence from the game just let an officer know or post it in the forum. We realize things come up so we won't boot people for being gone for a few weeks. If you are gone for months and we boot you, feel free to contact us on your return and we'll gladly invite you back in.

2. Help! Help your fellow guild mates lvl and gear up! The guild as a whole won't get far if we can't all work together and get everyone raid ready.

3. Mind the Manners. Be courteous to other people in and out of the guild. We don't want people to feel harassed in the guild and we don't want the guild to get a bad name for itself. We understand some joking will go on, which is to be expected, just try not to hurt anyone's feelings.

4. Don't cause drama. Any problems that arise that you are unable to resolve yourself civilly please take them to an officer. Also, if there is something going on in the guild that you are not happy with get a hold of the GL or Officer. We aren't promising that things will change, but we can at least try to figure out some kind of a solution or explain our reasons.

5. Not Required. It's not required that you have your alts in the guild. If want them in, great, if not that's your choice.

6. Raids are not mandatory. Even though raids aren't mandatory, please keep in mind that this -is- a raiding a guild and the only way we'll progress is if everyone, who can, pitches in.

7. No Ninjaing. The likely hood of this happening in a full raid is unlikely because there is a master looter, but if you run a small end instance with people, don't take loot that you don't need. If no one needs it then you should all collectively come up with a solution for it whether it's a another roll or it goes to a DE.

8. If we wipe, we wipe. Don't point fingers if the group wipes. That in itself create unneeded drama. The raid leader will decide whether or not it's worth continuing on at this point.

9. Discuss. Something go wrong during the raid? Something go extremely well? If we discuss this stuff at the end of a raid we'll all know what worked and what didn't so unless you have to log off immediately after a raid, stick around to discuss stuff with raid.

10. Not enough people? PuG the raid. Can't find people to PuG it you say? Then we'll give 'em hell! There's no reason to call a raid if there's only a few slots open. You never know how far we'll get or what loot will drop unless you try.

11. Master looter. The Raid Leader will be the Master looter. At the end of the Boss fight everyone will gather together and when loot is presented up for roll, those who -need- it will have to step forward . At this point the Raid Leader will check the gear of each person then assign the loot accordingly with a roll.

12. Greater Need is Back! So at this point in wanna shot my PC with a shotgun, but we're back to a greater need system. The DKP was too confusing for some people and we are going to just do a greater need.

13. Vent. Do not! I repeat, DO NOT! Give out our vent info without asking an officer and the Guild Leader. This will prevent any jerks messing with our Raid, Instance, or a meeting. If you do so, and an officer find out, you will be banned from vent and removed from the guild without question.

14. Keeping it Clean! We have a lot of parents that play the game. These parents have kids. Kids get curious and look at a computer screen or listen the Vent converstions. Do to this fact, We want to keep foul language and inapproprate words off of the guild chat and off of vent until 9:30 pm server time. While this can be prevented in-game by activating the filter mature langage option, it is more difficult to prevent on vent.

15. Hey, New Guy! So a new member shows up, geting into 25 man Nax, gets half the loot and /gquits. We have developed a way to somewhat prevent this. New memebers will be on a two raid trial period before being able to recieve loot. If you are confermed for two raids and you show up to both the next raid you will be able to recieve loot.
